Wow. My last post was 2 years ago. I have missed coming on here and having this as a creative outlet. Our son is so big now! Life is so different! I’ve overcome a lot of what I was blogging about with you back in the day as far as postpartum. The feeling lost part I don’t think ever goes away you just learn to have faith and trust your intuition, haha.
Not sure where we last left off even so I will “spill the tea” (it’s what all the cool cats are saying these days) to ya’ll with life as is. OMG freaking 2020. That gets its own separate post later down the line when I can fully wrap everything into one post lol. Michael is already 3! He is such a sweet, fun, highly active boy with the wildest imagination. It is such a joy to be able to watch him develop and learn every single day. I love being able to be there every step of the way. No, I didn’t say it was easy, but the reward is worth everything. Yes, he is a full blown threen-ager and every day is a new adventure… to say the least.
Last time we were connected I had my Mommy Box! Gosh do I miss it but there were things missing from it that I couldn’t quite put my finger on for the fulfillment aspect. I have partnered with a brand online and it checks all the boxes a stay-at-home-mom is looking for! If you did not know I love to work, be that independent woman, I was even considered a work-o-holic prior to putting on the mom cap. So, switching up life entirely from 90 hours a week in an office or structured setting to chaos and around the clock selfless giving I NEEDED something for myself.
That is why I started this blog, my YouTube channel, the beta box for moms, jumped back into my old online career, it did not work out as well as a mom, lol. Then, I discovered online partnerships and it literally is the BEST of both worlds. I get to be fully present as a mom AND I get to do and have something for myself to work on. It is great because I get to channel that inner work horse and desire to achieve (enneagram 3 here). You’ll see plenty of cool things come from this, stay tuned!
We are still living in California and LOVING it! Never ever did I think I would say I love California but here I am haha. After this year I have definitely become homesick and miss my Texas but I make up for it with pristine weekend beach trips and killer sunsets. I can do a post about all the greatest spots we have found in Southern California for those who are looking to visit in the future. Comment below if you would enjoy something like that!
OK! I know this page was specifically for motherhood and I intend to keep it that way! I am also expanding into where my life has expanded into- non-toxic and wellness living. I am not 100% crunchy mom status but I definitely love me some crunch. So you can expect to see the how-to’s for mom life, clean beauty, tips and tricks for implementing it into your home, wellness (which I have always been passionate about), life updates, amazing parent finds, and things along those lines!
PS: we are getting married (finally) in 2 weeks and I can scream it to the stars, I can’t wait to marry my best friend!
